OSW: Don’t Stop The Feeling

And now we’re back to our regularly scheduled podcasts. Springtime is here, just in time for Roy Ayers and company.

15 – My Love Song For You – Nile Rodgers f/ Sarah Dash

This blend of tracks gives a little of everything.  Norman Connors is paired with Ada Dyer.  The Rod Serling- infused track from Manhattan Transfer was regularly played on the R&B stations so it was a nice surprise to rediscover that track again.  It was also good to pull tracks not remembered, like Mtume and Gray and Hanks.  I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention that every time I hear the track from A Taste Of Honey, I can’t help but think of Positive K’s I Got A Man (and I’m sure I’m not alone). All in all, a good way to start the springtime, yes?  Of course, input is always welcome. Take it light.
