There are two things going on, so check it. The first is a nice, nice podcast from my pal DarrenKeith Wyatt, The Michael Franks Chillout Vibe mix (Click to play or right click-save as to download.) I got a huge kick out of it this weekend, so please take a listen. THe tracklistings and details are available here. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, so please show some love.

Next up --- collaboration with the maestro of OSW, KB, leads to great things. Witness:

In this collaboration we give you 16 of the finest cuts delivered by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. We cover both from the writing and production point of view (which they are well known for) as well as their executive production utility, as witnessed through such fine acts as Mint Condition. We even pull two tracks from the Mo' Money soundtrack. We give you fast cuts (The Time's Data Bank to Karyn White's Weakness), andthen slow it down from Janet's The Body That Loves You to Human League's Human. We give you a taste of the new jack, with New Edition and Krush, and drop it to a mellow conclusion with Mint Condition's U Send Me Swingin' to Sounds Of Blackness' Optimistic.

I'd be typing all night if I told you about each track, so as usual we've provided more for you in the podcast as we give you our takes on the tracks provided. I love Jam and Lewis. I learned to edit muic on tape after wactching them on Video Soul episode when they visited them at Flyte Tyme back in the 80's.

Janet's stuff is great, but their early stuff SOS, Alexander and Cherelle, CLASSIC!
