01 - Junior - Mama Used To Say
02 - Quincy Jones - Betcha' Wouldn't Hurt Me
03 - Stevie Wonder - I Love You Too Much
04 - Michael McDonald - What A Fool Believes (ft.The Doobie Brothers)
05 - Angela Winbush - Treat U Rite
06 - Human League - Human
07 - Cherrelle - Baby It's You
08 - Hiroshima - One Wish [Instrumental]
09 - Donald Byrd - Think Twice
10 - The Isley Brothers - For The Love Of You (part 1 & 2)
11 - Rufus - Hollywood
12 - Jermaine Jackson - Do What You Do (Extended Version)
13 - Earth, Wind & Fire - After the Love Has Gone
14 - Sybil - On Our Way to Love

Thanks to Ronnie, the leadoff track, Mama Used To Say is used, with more of her suggestions coming in the next few weeks. While Skeskali had Human on her mind a couple of weeks ago, and Theresa had her suggestions, it was Oshunrae who put the icing on the cake asking for Isley Brothers and whole host of others. My standout tracks are Hiroshima's One Wish (which I'm sure Thom Allen agrees with) , Cherrelle's Baby It's You, and of course Stevie's I Love You Too Much (as he proclaims, "maybe three much!")

There's more in the podcast, including my trip to Chicago, and some of my thinking behind these tracks. For those who'd like to subscribe to these podcasts, use this link. The Junior song you opened with took me back to my college radio days at WAER FM88 at Syracuse University in the late 70's and 80's. We were one of the first stations in the country to play that song because it was brought to us by the VP (or was he President, I can't remember) of A&R at Polygram Records, who was speaking on campus at the invitation of our Black Communications Society student organization. The late Bill Hayward, a very cool older gentleman, gave it to us on cassette and told us about how they'd discovered and signed Junior over in England. I don't know if they'd even pressed a record yet.

Thanks for the flashback.

I have an autographed copy of Stevie Wonder's In Square Circle. I haven't picked up that album in ages. You're going to make me dig mine up just because of this OSW.

Great mix, EJ! The Isley Brothers track is a classic.

Had not heard the Hiroshima track in a while. Great song. There is a Paul Hardcastle remix of it that Hiroshima used to perform in their live set for a number of years. Worth tracking down.
