OSW: One Of The Nights
This is quite possibly one of my better ones of the year, in my opinion, despite my voiceovers. Here we go:

I spend my spare time extolling on the virtues of Twitter, which has been a great experience of me and provides good vibes. This mix is based on the music that has been talked about and suggested by the Twitizens, as I like to call us. If you want to know what I'm doing day to day, check out my Twitter vibe and/or look to the right, which has updates of what's going on with me. Now...
Sharon, Michael, and Teena lead the way into Nights (Feel Like Getting Down), a Billy Ocean track which was suggested by a few of the Twitizens. Alexander has always been on the of the favorites, has Atlantic Starr's Circles. The instrumental The Mood continues the pace and brings us into Incognito's DO Right from the Positivity LP. Amel and Bryce continue the vibe with Angel, continuing into Chante's Mood, produced by Jam and Lewis.
One of the underappreciated acts from the early 90s, The Wooten Brothers, continues the vibe with Tell Me, while Dee Dee Wilde's Lap of Luxury and Glenn Jones' At Last slow us down right into Patti and Luther, who round out the set.
The podcast goes into a little more detail, and is actually okay despite my voice (I'm my worst critic). Shoutouts go to Randy, Liz, and many others who are mentioned in the podcast, so check it out.
Take it light.

I just stumbled onto ejflavors.com last night and I couldn't get enough! The best beats I've heard in years!
Hi EJ. Another great set. The ubiquitous Kashif (not that I am complaining) makes another deserved apperance; as does the master, Luther. That album is a perfect example of Luther's persistent quest for excellence in sound (not just music and words). I love that Billy Ocean track, too. Thanks for always exceeding expectations, man.
Peace
P.S.: I got Kashif, but I need some System stuff in the mix, too (LOL).
You could have just put Billy's "Nights" on this one and it would have been pure gold but by adding KSHIF, Alexander, Sharon, Teena,Atlantic and Michael Wycoff. This OSW is platinum plus!
Speaking of Billy Ocean, this song to me was more his signature track. I know most would say Caribbean Queen and the more subtle tracks he had, but the music, groove, backing vocals were just right...more than right, really.
It seems as if he was having pure fun on this I never heard him riff and get into a track like he did with this. Wow. I had to be in 3rd grade when this hit and it brings back all the good memories. Classic.
Thanks, Man.
Well done as usual! Thanks for Miss Patti!
"When Sly Calls" is my jam!
This is soooooo not fair. Billy Ocean, Michael Wycoff and Sharon Redd among others to start it off, then the slow jams got me thinking about my lady. EJ, you got me wanting to get up and go to her place...and it's going on midnight. :-)
Keep it up, man.
