Nothing needs to be said about Right In The Socket, one of the hits from Shalamar- this time with Jody singing lead. Sister Sledge's If You Really Want Me leads into Heatwave's rap-infused Lettin' It Loose. Next up, there's Michael Wycoff (remember Tell Me Love and I'll Be Looking Up To You?)with Do It To Me Baby.

The O'Jay's splendid hit Give The People What They Want leads into Chic's MMFTCF. Once you hear the song, it will be pretty obvious what the initials stand for, and cause you to groove as well. It comes from the album Chic-Ism. After 7's Can't Stop leads into Kenny G's splendid Hi, How You Doin'. These tracks lead into Level 42 and Michael Franks When Sly Calls.

Joe Sample with Take 6 come back at you with U Turn, Amy Keys slides in with Someone's Gonna Fall In Love, Adeva keeps the groove with So Right, and we end the set with Junior's underappreciated track If Ever. As usual, there's a little more in the podcast, so if you're so inclined, download and take a listen. Quite a few people are mentioned. Also, if you have any request, please don't hesitate to drop me a line at ejflavors at gmail dot com.

Take it light!

OOOOOHhhhhhh, Indeed! When I saw the title "Hi, How Ya Doin" I knew instantly what tune this was...I DID NOT know it was Kenng G!!! REALLY?!!!!!? Good, good drop of knowledge there EJ? Kenny G did this..I still can't wrap my head around it..GREAT! (This jam don't even get radio play when they do old school jam sessions..haven't heard it in Eons!)

Shalamar, lead by Jody Watley is great. (Still got a crush on her) It's amazing but I went to Youtube not too long ago and her videos still look fresh..especially "Real Love." Timeless. Also unlike many artist she actually can SING and DANCE.

Level 42 is always on point. Love Sister Sledge and Heatwave. On point as always, E.

Kenny G, huh? Wow!

Hi EJ. Another excellent playlist. Kashif is, again, here via Kenny G. That was a great album Kashif, pardon me, by Kenny G (hahaha). Level 42, one of my favorites and Chic take this OSW to another level. Thanks.

Peace
