OSW: The UK Mix, Volume II

My week, so far, has been less than spectacular. Some personal issues knocked me down, and having site issues a little while ago didn't help matters any. Luckily, they both turned around just in time to pull this together. By request, the continuation:

EJ, another nice job my friend. Now I see what you meant when I inquired about Culture Club; in the lead off spot, eh? It don't get any better than that. Now I'm walking around with "Miss Me Blind" running through my head over and over again! Plus I've always dug The Power Station and "Hold Me Now" by the Thompson Twins; and of course you can't go wrong with Simply Red and Sade.

On the flip side I really like the extra "Blasts from the Past" mixes you've been adding lately. It gives someone like me (who only discovered the joy of OSW a little over a year ago) a chance to catch up on all the good stuff I missed.

Now, this is what I'm talking about. Some of these songs remind me of when we did the Pale Skin Ballads a couple of years back. Wow! Has it really been that long? My, my, how time flies!!! ;-)

Thanks Bro-in-law. That one got us through a home painting job in the living room this past weekend. It wouldn't have happened but for your UK Mix Vol. II (and the beer). Now from Rolling Stones to Josh Stone (with Lulu, Dusty Springfield, the Beetles and Tom Jones in between).

Ephraim Lewis ....ah brings back mixed memories that track, what a superb debut album, such a talent , such a waste. Had the pleasure of meeting Ephraim once before his record deal..a gentle man. A sad loss :(
