OSW: Out Of Thin Air, Volume 4

And now that my voice is up to par, and my life is in a constant state of abnormality, I am happy to say that I’m back. Thanks to all y’all who came across my way. I really didn’t expect it, and I got love going right back to you.

I’ll have more about this mix as time permits, but just off the top of my head, At Midnight is my absolute favorite uptemp cut by Rufus, Will You Be Mine is one of my favorite cuts by Anita, and
Phyllis Hyman, Al Jarreau, and Perri have the three lesser-known tracks of the mix that always make me feel warm inside everytime I hear them.

Take it light.

I’m doing the “Happy Dance”, I’m doing the “Happy Dance”; cause EJ’s back with a new mix this week…
I’m doing the “Happy Dance”, I’m doing the “Happy Dance”. {smile} Lovin’ the Rufus cut too, one of my favorites also. Then you give us Quincy, Sade, Phyllis and you slip in “Jo-Jo” by Boz! This one was worth the wait.

You got me started on Shuggie Otis and now I can’t let go. Thanks for making my morning, music man. 😉

So glad you are feeling betta. I always tried to hit those high notes in ‘At Midnight’. It was one of my fave fast cuts from Chaka, too. Take care, ms. alex
