OSW: Synth Jams

I had to go a little bit to the left this week, since I’m still trying to assemble a followup to Back In The Day, Volume 3. Don’t worry it’s coming! I just happen to have some imports coming in this week, so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, last night (after a long, long day at work), I was in conversations with Prime, Charles of Flowink, and the infamous Todd Kelley, talking about the group named Kraftwerk. The conversations led into other groups and more tracks in the same vein, which then coalesced into:

Old School Wednesday : Synth Jams.

EJ, wassup? You took me back to those “Breakin'” days LOL. Kraftwerk, Bambaataa & Hardcastle? Man, when u take it back u take it way back. Interesting how these sounds are heavily influencing current-day Hip Hop tracks, with the 808, analog synths and all. Good stuff, my man. Peace.

Mmkay – how does this sound? “Black chick, early 30’s in search of employment after being “released” from previous job for trying to poplock and do the robot at her desk?”
    Loving it!

Damnit EJ, I leave the net, try to bone up on my music list, and you’re still making feel like I have to play catch up. Kick ass list. Will definitely check these artists out now.
