OSW: The Xquizzyt1 Mix: Dancehall II

I didn’t get to make it to Chicago for the fourth, thanks to not being able to
rebook my flight, so I hate
that
I missed
out
on all
the activities
, good
times
, and
all
the other
stuff
that
went on
in
the city
this
past weekend
, but not to worry, I’m trying to make it up there for a second
time. I’m also planning on being in Philadelphia later on this month, so stay
tuned. I’m sure that everyone had a good Independance Day.

Xquizzyt1
gives it to you again:

Old
School Wednesday: Xquizzyt1: The Dancehall Mix, Part II

01 – Barrington Levy – Murderer
02 – Dawn Penn – You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No)
03 – Foxy Brown – Sorry
04 – Beres Hammond & Cutty Ranks – Tempted to Touch
05 – Shabba Ranks – Roots and Culture
06 – Shaggy and Rayvon – Big Up
07 – Reggie Stepper – Kimbo King
08 – Buju Banton – Dickie
09 – Beenie Man – Old Dog
10 – Louie Culture – Ganga Lee
11 – Shabba Ranks – Telephone Love
12 – Super Cat – Don Dada
13 – Buju Banton – Champion
14 – Mad Cobra – Flex
15 – Sanchez – The Saddest Day of My Life
16 – Bounty Killer & Barrington Levy – Living Dangerously

On part one, I mentioned that I knew none of the songs. In this selection, I knew
seven of them, so I’m not as unfamiliar with dancehall as I previously thought.
Enjoy.

    Buck, buck, buck! :-)
Sup with your dancehall skills man? Don’t tell me your encyclopedic musical mind isn’t up on dancehall.

X, I’m gonna have to get these compilations together for my Labor Day Mix. Though I don’t generally go to the Labor Day Parade in NYC, I may just have to after these OSWs.

That Super Cat instant;y gets me up on my feet. And everytime I see Shabba Rank’s name, I can’t help but hear “Shabba!” (the way he says it) in my head. Is that just me? lol
