old school, part iii
And now it’s time to reach inside your mind and pull out some old school!
Hey, I may have had one of the weirdest weeks last week, but KB
managed to pull me out of my little funk by granting me creative control of his
Old School
Wednesday wayback machine. This is take three of The Old School – take two
done by no other than Nasty
Bastard, who updates his
radio constantly and provides us with cuts that keep us noddin’.
Some of the old school that I had to bring back? Why, The
Invisible Man’s Band, Kwamé,
and Taana
Gardner, just to name a few.
And yes, as quiet as it’s kept, I do have the new Janet. Sister
Outsider and myself have graciously assembled our Best of Janet also on the right. I’m
ready to jump out with my review of Damita
Jo (currently in draft form) which comes out in 6 days.
